Seems like Kiznit has been in an introspective mood recently. But hey, looks like the spam is gone!

The vanilla software is like two years overdue for an update, and the spammers are getting in. I cleaned up what I saw but I really need to sit down and upgrade the forums. Vanilla isn't the best supported system out there so this is a long and complicated process with potential to break everything.

I did delete a ton of spammy-looking users (like 500-some). If anyone out there had a particularly sketchy-looking username/email address and hadn't posted anything, they may have to remake an account, sorry!

Okay, the software is finally updated, with a whole host of new spam-fighting options. People should also now have the ability to flag posts as well if they seem spammish.
