"Old Schol Hack Appropriate" Miniatures
Pretty easy to customize, too, using just MSPaint and a blank template.

"Borrowing" Good Ideas from the D&DNext Playtest
Well, that was the issue I brought up earlier - Adv/Disadvantage really "solves" a problem that OSH doesn't have, and because of it, doesn't have a lot of mechanical value to add. I think what it could add to the game is an evoc…

I agree with Khayman's preference for keeping "disadvantage" as something assigned by the DM where appropriate, rather than something that randomly crops up. Terrain and circumstances seem like the best situations for applying Disadv…

More random content. This is far less "clean", but the meat of it is here. I'm not bothering to put it into the nicer formatting, at the moment - perhaps later. ================================================================ Upgra…

I completely agree. I look forward to trying it out but, as you say, OSH already seems firmly set in the realm of "succeed more-often-than-not". Disadvantage may, then, be the more interesting addition. Really, though, this may be one o…

A full-on Old School Hack campaign
I'm approaching "advancement" in a system of Stages. Right now, they're mostly just bare-bones concepts - I'm just getting around to hammering out details. Stage 1: Adventure is the current game. It's mostly the typi…

Great Monster Inspirations
I really like the idea of leveraging Magic: the Gathering's massive, massive archive of creatures for inspiration. And hey, thanks to Gatherer (link), you don't even have to own any cards!

Fictive made a book about deities too, but it's fun to make your own and play them up. Yeah, I like Fictive's stuff in general, but I think a lot of it feels more like its own game at this point, rather than feeling like standard OSH. Gr…

I like that idea. There's a similar idea that Savage Worlds uses except it's used to describe what the players did between session and breeds some great roleplaying habits. That can be found here: http://savagepedia.wikispaces.com/file/v…

Thanks. We'll see if we can get some of the non-class stuff formatted up sooner, rather than later.

Actual Play
Ran a quick, improvised, game for my younger cousins, and their friends, on Saturday. They had a blast, and I enjoyed running it (stealing heavily from D&D adventures I've run in the past). Only two of the four of them really -got- the wh…

Templates for Classes
Okay, NOT a double-post, apparently. Anyways, long post short: I think a class template would be a fantastic idea. It was literally the first thing I started to look for, when I discovered this game.
